International
Arts and design transcend national and geographical boundaries. As a globally connected university of the arts, ZHdK cultivates partnerships and cooperations with institutions across the globe.
Furthering the internationalisation of teaching and research is a key strategic priority for ZHdK. The university therefore actively supports and promotes international mobility among its students, faculty and staff. Through a wide range of international projects, initiatives and English-taught programmes, students are able to develop a strong international profile, gaining skills and experience to prepare them for an interconnected workplace. At the same time, these opportunities make ZHdK an attractive destination for exchange students from around the world.
Mobility
ZHdK students are given the opportunity to participate in an exchange programme where they can study abroad for one or two semesters. ZHdK offers international students the opportunity to come to Zurich on an exchange programme or to study on a full-time course.
Programmes, initiatives and networks
A wide range of programmes and initiatives are available based on an interest in the unknown, the experience of others, self-reflection and, if possible, working with others to develop something new in a “third place”. To that end, ZHdK is engaged in several networks of different types.
