Strengthening the intercultural competencies of its staff and students and promoting international opportunities and perspectives is a strategic priority at ZHdK.
Studying at ZHdK prepares young people for an interconnected, digital, and agile working world. In order to strengthen their international profile, students have the opportunity to spend a semester at a ZHdK partner university abroad or can choose from study programmes involving foreign partner universities or international guest lecturers.
There are also several opportunities available to ZHdK's staff members. Lectures, as well as academic and administrative staff can participate in short-term exchanges at partner universities abroad through the Swiss-European Mobility Programme (SEMP). In addition, they may apply for funding opportunities such as the Global Partnerships Fund and take advantage of internal training offers provided through ZHdK’s continuing education programme, including individual coaching and workshops on topics such as intercultural competence.
