ZHdK has an international profile that draws talented students, teachers, artists and researchers from all over the world.
The German language is a part of the institutionโ€™s identity, underscoring its importance in the areas of teaching, research and continuing education. However, the university also offers courses in English, which the departments develop in accordance with their goals. This is advantageous for the students, particularly with regard to the employment market. Publications in English also strengthen ZHdKโ€™s connection to international research.
