    Movetia

    Movetia, the Swiss National Agency for Exchange and Mobility, provides funding opportunities for international projects of Higher Education Institutions in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme or the Movetia International Programme.

    • Cooperation Partnerships
      Cooperation partnerships are one of the Erasmus+ project formats. They make it possible for Higher Education Institutions to cooperate with partner institutions from Europe. Knowledge and experiences are exchanged and innovative approaches to education are developed in international networks.

    • Alliances for Innovation
      Alliances for Innovation are an Erasmus+ project format. The format encourages strategic cooperation among higher education actors within the broader socio-economic environment. The focus is on enterprises and research.

    • European Universities
      This project format of Erasmus+ supports excellence projects from European university associations. Higher education institutions throughout Europe test and establish comprehensive institutional and transnational cooperation in teaching, research, innovation and services.

    • International Programme
      The International Programme offers the possibility to work together with one or more institutions in Europe or outside Europe. Possible objectives and activities are: establish and consolidate inter-institutional networks; propose new processes or ways of working within the participating institutions through the exchange of experience and best practice; develop training materials, new teaching approaches or new opportunities to be tested and, ideally, implemented.

    There are foundations in Switzerland that support studentsโ€™ and lecturersโ€™ international projects at universities of arts. Various directories enable this search:

    • Fundraiso: a Swiss database for funding from foundations, associations and other organizations. Free to use after registration;
    • StiftungSchweiz: a database of Swiss charitable foundations. Free basic access after registration;
    • Directory of Swiss foundations: a comprehensive directory of all foundations in Switzerland without guarantee of completeness.
