Valeska Grisebach
Valeska Grisebach (born in 1968) is a German film director. After studying German and Philosophy in Berlin, Munich and Vienna, she started a course of study in film in Vienna. Her graduate thesis film โMein Sternโ (โBe My Starโ) was nominated for the Adolf Grimme Award in 2002 and won the critics prize at the Toronto International Film Festival and the top prize at the Torino Film Festival. In 2006, she presented her second narrative film โSehnsuchtโ (โLongingโ) in the competition of the International Film Festival in Berlin.
