Urs Bühler studied German language and literature at the University of Zurich. He started working as Dolly-Grip in the mid-1980s and subsequently earned a Master in Directing from the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. Since 2001 he is working as screenwriter, script consultant and lecturer. His scripts are characterized by relevant themes; such as surgery at an early age on intersexuals in “Skalpell” (an episode of “Tatort*”), illegal disposal of ammunition in Swiss lakes in the environmentalist “Stärke 6” (Strength 6), a shitstorm campagne against a teacher being accused of sexual abuse in the social drama «Verdacht» (Suspicion) or vigilante justice in “Ihr werdet gerichtet” (You are being judged – another “Tatort” Episode). The latter was named “Tatort” of the Year in Germany in 2015. He is currently working on a series and two feature films. → Urs Bühler’s website
