      • Martin Svidron

My name is Martin Svidron. I come from Slovakia, but Iโ€™ve lived in Switzerland for the last five years. Dance and an interest in dance have been a part of my life in different ways since as far back as I can remember, and I completed my first dance qualification at the Kosice Dance Academy in Slovakia. I view the art of dance as an imaginary journey that transcends time and space and offers me a medium to portray the unique, poetic, melancholic, human, magical as my reality and perspective of the world. This journey continues for me at Zurich University of the Arts in the Contemporary Dance course. Iโ€™m very grateful for this opportunity and will make full use of the study period to become more professional, while still enjoying every minute of this creative time. After all, there's nothing better than being in the right place at the right time and having the privilege of working in the wonderful profession of dance.
