Student Lifecycle Management and organizational questions

    • 1. Student Lifecycle Management

    • Not sure who to contact?

Organizing your studies involves various administrative steps – from enrolment and semester invoices to deadlines and digital tools. To ensure your start to your studies goes smoothly, you’ll find the most important information, dates and requirements at a glance on the ZHdK intranet under ‘Starting your studies’.

On the ZHdK intranet under ‘My ZHdK’, you can access various personal documents, including your confirmation of enrolment. This is often required when looking for accommodation, renewing a residence permit or for other administrative purposes. It will be available to download once your semester fees have been received.

There are two different points of contact at ZHdK for administrative and study-related enquiries:

    1. Student Lifecycle Management

The Student Lifecycle Management provides administrative support to students throughout their studies – from application and admission right through to graduation. It assists you with administrative matters.

    This includes, amongst other things:

    • Information on application procedures and admission requirements
    • Formal admission and enrolment
    • Issuing enrolment certificates and confirmations of study places
    • Administration of minor choices; registering for, withdrawing from, and discontinuing minors
    • Management of semester status
    • Sending out semester invoices
    • Collection of statistical data and invoicing to the federal government and cantons
    • Management of student data relevant to the federal government and cantons
    • Processing of graduation procedures and issuing of diplomas
    • Issuing of diploma copies, transcripts and replacement documents
    • Processing of degree title conversions and issuing of equivalence certificates

If you have any questions on these topics, the Student Lifecycle Management will be happy to assist you:

    • Transcript of Records
    • Exchange and credit transfer agreements
