Sometimes, it doesnโt take much to turn something old into something new. Sometimes, all it takes is giving products a second chance with someone else. Clothing items, in particular, are popular for this.
Thatโs why the Sustainability Dossier organizes a free clothing swap twice a year at Toni-Areal, helping us slow down fast fashion together. Over 180kg of clothing and accessories have been circulated through past events, allowing these items to (re)discover their purpose.

REPAIR & CARE: Knitting Cafรฉ, Repair Station, and Textile SPA
This year, the exchange goes beyond material goods: In collaboration with the Zurich Knowledge Center for Sustainable Development (ZKSD) and as part of Zurich Sustainability Week, you can customize and adjust your finds at the Knitting Cafรฉ & Repair Station.
For those who want to become more mindful beyond knitting, crocheting, and repairing, the Textile SPA offers inspiration to rethink clothing-related routines. Today, "Ready to wear" is not enough. Sustainable fashion needs more components and shifts to "ready to share, care, repair."
For questions or feedback, the re-source team is happy to help.
