Programme objective

The Master of Arts in Design programme provides students with in-depth design knowledge and research-oriented qualifications in design practice, design research and design education. They learn how to analyse, apply and develop design knowledge, concepts and processes based on design and research methods.

The Master’s programme leads to a Master of Arts degree in Design. It qualifies students to continue their academic career in the respective field and, thanks to the 120 ECTS credits, ensures they are eligible to enrol in a PhD programme.
Duration and scope: 4 semesters of full-time study, 120 ECTS credits, 90 of which are ECTS major credits and 30 ECTS minor credits.
