Benefits of studying at ZHdK.
The main element of the minor in Musiktheater is the combination of basic scenic and musical training with project-related language diction, individual role coaching, and teaching of dramaturgical skills. Students are given the opportunity to put the know-how they have acquired in their basic training into practice and to gain their first stage experience in public workshops, on podiums, and in the annual musical theatre or opera production.

Time structure.
The modules of the scenic-musical basic training generally take place on Fridays or during the weekends during the major weeks. Further modules take place during the major and minor weeks. The musical theatre or opera production is embedded in the minor weeks; individual dates may also fall during the intermediate semester. Detailed information can be found in the course catalog.
