    Assessment of Entry-Level Competencies

    Minor Musiktheater

Certain entry-level competencies are required as a condition of participation in this minor and are assessed as described below. Information on which majors must complete the assessment can be found in the “Musiktheater” Minor description (PDF Download).

    Entry-Level Competencies

Students must undergo an aptitude assessment to demonstrate that they possess a singing performance level allowing them to take part in a public performance of a Musiktheater production.
Students who are enrolled in the Interpretation & Performance Major Voice programmes are not required to undergo an aptitude assessment. They have already demonstrated the required competencies through their admission to their degree programme.

    Aptitude Assessment

Students seeking admission to the Minor in Orchestral Studies must demonstrate their aptitude as follows:

    • Auditioning from two Arias

In accordance with the minor application regulations and the study regulations, vocal aptitude is decisive for the assessment of entry competences in accordance with the criteria for the aptitude test BMU Major Singing.
