The Sustainability Dossier promotes disciplinary and interdisciplinary projects by lecturers and researchers in the field of sustainability. The supported projects highlight the relevance of the arts, design, and education within the context of sustainability — in practice, in theory, and in current debates — and are characterised by an innovative, forward-looking approach. Members of ZHdK are supported in testing their knowledge and skills through applied projects, contributing to the sustainable transformation of our society and environment.

These projects engage with collaborative practices, social transformation, systemic-ecological questions, sustainable resource use, and innovative forms of knowledge organisation. They integrate existing sustainability knowledge within their disciplines and generate new insights through experiences, experiments, and new formats, enabling key sustainability topics to be addressed in visible and tangible ways.

The funded initiatives include both newly launched projects and those receiving support for further development. Through financial contributions and guidance on content, processes, and formats, we aim to strengthen creative collaboration and set forward-thinking impulses for research and practice.

A highlight of the funding programme will be the final presentation on Wednesday, 10 December 2025, from 12:00 to 13:00 in the Kaskadenfoyer (ZT 5.K04), where the supported projects and their outcomes will be presented.
