    The ZHdK is the only art university in Switzerland to offer the opportunity to study film, theatre and media composition in a practical way and in intensive exchange with lecturers and students.
    Are you already working in areas such as film and media composition, songwriting or producing and would you like to deepen and expand your experience and skills in composing, arranging and orchestrating, recording, producing and editing? With the aim of developing your own artistic signature, the focus is not only on composing, arranging and orchestrating, but also on expressing music to given images/moods or preparing and following up on projects.
    The โ€œCAS Composition for Film, Theatre and Mediaโ€ concludes with a written reflection on the individual learning objectives formulated at the beginning of the course and the learning process that has taken place.

      Structure of the CAS programme

      The โ€œCAS Composition for Film, Theatre and Mediaโ€ includes instruction in a core subject of an individually chosen contingent.

      In addition to this, the main areas of study can be experienced, deepened and reflected upon in the context of individual observations in group courses or one-to-one lessons.

      Additional elective content (subject to a fee)
      The artistic content of your continuing education is based on your personal learning needs and goals. In case of interest, and if you have the appropriate previous knowledge, you can also choose additional in-depth courses from the bachelor's and master's programmes. Admission is based on meeting the artistic requirements and the available places. The additional costs are calculated based on the scope and teaching structure of the respective course.
