Duration and scope
The CAS Fundamentals of Typography is an intensive continuing education programme. It lasts one semester and consists mainly of on-site contact teaching, supplemented by off-site teaching, mentoring, self-study and guest lectures. Selected lessons are held remotely.

Study periods
Classes are held on Fridays and Saturdays (9:00–16:30 h), every two weeks. Participants should allow for three to five days of self-study per month for homework and research.
