Hannah Mehler studied classical singing at Zurich University of the Arts and the Music Academy Trossingen. She works as a freelance singer and performs both as a soloist and in ensembles. During the 2021 season, she made her debut at the Tonhalle Zurich where she sang with the Tonhalle Orchestra under the musical direction of Frank Strobel. In addition to her performances as a soloist, she is a member of the Zurich Sing-Akademie.
Hannah collaborated with the Stuttgart performance duo NAF with Nana Hülsewig and Fender Schrade for two of their productions. “Netzwerk aus 392 Tasten – Musikwerkstatt zu Casta Diva” and “NORM IST F!KTION #5/1” were performed at the Theater Rampe in Stuttgart. “NORM IST F!KTION #5/3” was presented in Helsinki at Oblivia’s invitation. In 2022 she worked with performance artist Johanna Kotlaris for her nomination for the Swiss Performance Art Award where they showed “Bibbidi Bobbedi Anima” in Kunstmuseum Lucerne.
She co-manages public interfaces at the Institute for Computer Music and Sound Technology (ICST).
