Micha Seidenberg, artistic program chair

Micha Seidenberg studied music theory (MA, Haute école de Musique de Genève) and composition (MA, Zurich University of the Arts). He composes for everything that sounds and that can "point" to something through sound, convey something and make it sensually experienceable. Instrument making and collaboration are an important parts of his artistic practice.

His works have been performed by ensembles including: ensemble recherche, Galatea Quartet, Ensemble Ascolta (Germany), ensemble proto, Solovoices, Neue Vocalsolisten. He has composed the music for several video works by Valentina Pini recently featured at the Bienal des Artes Mediales in Santiago de Chile.

He teaches instrumentation at the Zurich University of the Arts where he also co-manages public interfaces at the Institute for Computer Music and Sound Technology (ICST).
