Creative Economies Forum 2024
Creative Tech Switzerland – from mapping the field to setting the agenda
The Zurich Centre for Creative Economies (ZCCE) at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) in collaboration with Fuelarts, USA, has recently released the Swiss Creative Tech Startups Report 2024.
This report provides detailed insights into the Creative Tech ecosystem and emphasizes educational programs, venture support, and partnership opportunities that promote the sector's growth. It is more than just an academic document; it's a crucial tool for Creative Tech startups looking to grow their presence throughout Switzerland's various cantons.
The 2024 Report fills a critical void by addressing how, despite the well-documented and strategically developed intersections of technology with fields such as finance, health, and biology, the links to the creative industries have not been given enough attention. This joint report underlines a significant opportunity for Switzerland's future development in these industries.
About CEF 24
The Creative Economies Forum 2024 (CEF 24) aims to develop the first Creative Tech Manifesto for Switzerland and start a joint effort, drawing from the ideas in the Swiss Creative Tech Report.
CEF 24 will gather leaders, funders, creative tech professionals, academics, researchers, and government representatives to expand on the report's recommendations. We made sure to include those who create and shape content as well as context, bridging generational gaps and incorporating various facets of creative technology into the dialogue.
Along the four thematic clusters of “Education/Research”, “Collaboration/Community”, “Narrative Building”, and “Strategy” we will discuss areas such as:
- Buidling Creative Tech Performance Index
- Entrepreneurial Education
- Investor Education in High-Risk Ventures
- Building of a Specialized Investment Syndicate
- Greater Engagement with Switzerland based global platforms
- Enhanced Inter-Cantonal Interaction
- Designing a Unified Creative Tech Platform
- Consistent Use of Creative Tech
- Broadcasting Success Stories and
- Integration with Brand Strategists
