Each semester, the different Master’s programmes in Art Education at four Swiss German Art Schools organize in cooperation a week-long course devoted to topics in art education (selected examples). The Art Education Network Course aims to stimulate discourse on current issues and to connect the different institutions of higher education. At the ZHdK, the Network Courses are organized in collaboration with Research in Art Education. Between 2008 and 2018, five Network Courses were held at the ZHdK as a cooperation between the MAE in Art Education and the Institute for Art Education (IAE), predecessor to the current Research in Art Education.
