PreCollege Profile School Music
The PreCollege School Music programme consists of intensive instrumental or vocal main subject training on the one hand and music education components on the other. The direct integration of the PreCollege young school music students into the music education department of the University of Music also enables a valuable peer exchange between all (young) students and a direct connection to their future academic and professional life. Under the guidance of music education lecturers, projects are carried out together, pedagogical content is developed and applied in practice. A variety of modules in the areas of advanced music skills, theory, health, physical training, IT and new music technologies enable students to strengthen their personal profiles and prepare specifically for entrance examinations at various music universities. The main subject lessons can be taken internally with lecturers from the ZHdK or with an external teacher.
