PreCollege Profile Church Music, Choir conducting


The PreCollege Church Music Choir Conducting focusses on subjects such as singing, piano, choral conducting and score playing. The direct integration of the PreCollege young students into the University of Music's church music profile enables valuable peer exchange among all students and a direct link to their future academic and professional life. A variety of modules in the areas of advanced music skills, theory, health, physical training, IT and new music technologies enable the strengthening of personal profiles and targeted preparation for entrance examinations at various Universitys. Lessons specialising in choral conducting are taught in-house by lecturers at from the ZHdK.

Improvisation

Open to all profiles, the ZHdK PreCollege Music offers the module Improvisation in small groups. On offer are free improvisational approaches and improvisation in the jazz/pop field.
