The artist and researcher Uriel Orlow, born in Zurich in 1973, is one of three prizewinners of the Zurich C.-F. Meyer Foundation in 2020. Every year, the CHF 20,000 prize is awarded to young talents with a life-long connection or a circle of activity in Zurich. Uriel Orlow teaches at the MA Fine Arts and is active at our Institute for Contemporary Art Research.

"Uriel Orlow is awarded the 2020 Prize for his creative attempts to broaden the concept of art and to use various media to promote the examination of other cultural perspectives and practices. Following solo exhibitions in St. Gallen and San Sebastian, Orlov's works are currently being shown at Kunsthalle Mainz." (NZZ)
