    KOKO โ€“ Next Generation Journal

    KOKO โ€“ Next Generation Journal

Idea/Motivation: The main idea behind KOKO is to develop and operate an innovative academic journal in the context of the Shared Campus and beyond that challenges and re-considers not only traditional research and publication formats, but also established standards, conventions and protocols in academic publishing.

    KOKO Activities 2019

In line with the 2019 activities of the Shared Campus, we aim to facilitate ideas, positions and contributions on โ€œDiversity Literacyโ€. The goals are:

    • to develop an initial tool (integrating Instagram, Tumblr, etc.) to collect fragmentary contents produced by (selected) students and staff; and
    • to render visible the collected contents by establishing mechanisms for their grouping and further processing into journal calls and topics.

      Digital Toolbox

      Idea/Motivation

Our fundamental idea is to establish a โ€œDigital Toolboxโ€ that will offer Shared Campus students and faculty materials, methods and an exchange platform for teaching, learning and collaboration along the various thematic clusters (knowledge / teaching / learning platform).

      Digital Toolbox Activities 2019

      • To conceptualize a โ€œDialogical Repositoryโ€: Data-based, searchable collection of digital materials supplemented by suggestions for use in a teaching context or in self-organized learning.
      • To clarify the need for โ€œAgoraโ€, a digital site for faculty-student exchange.
      • To conceptualize how to deal with Open Education Resources and โ€œShared Campus Restricted Education Resourcesโ€.
