Situated within the University Development unit at the Rectorate of ZHdK, External Affairs and Cooperation is responsible for the university’s international positioning as well as the strategic development, maintenance, and coordination of institution-wide partnerships and collaborations.
Its core task is to identify global developments, relevant networks, and opportunities for cooperation, and to translate these into sustainable institutional frameworks. In doing so, it ensures ZHdK’s connectivity to international contexts in higher education, culture, research, and innovation. At the same time, it strengthens the university’s visibility and international relevance as a globally networked and collaborative university of the arts.
