"Konditorei Kritzel" is a digital serious game that motivates children with writing difficulties to do motor skills exercises in a playful way. In addition to promoting motor skills, the game aims to convey a sense of achievement that has a positive effect on mental well-being.
The game was developed by an interdisciplinary team from ZHAW (Institute of Public Health and Occupational Therapy), ZHdK (Game Design), and PHZH (Education) and has been successfully tested in a pilot study. Its development was made possible by a ZHAW digital fellowship and the first Rapid Action Call.
