      Biodiversity monitoring of grasshoppers with an AI-supported mobile app

      The aim of the project is to develop the โ€œChirpScanโ€ app, which uses artificial intelligence to automatically classify grasshoppers based on their songs. The app enables efficient monitoring of biodiversity and serves as a didactic tool to promote biodiversity education. It is user-friendly and is aimed at experts, citizen scientists and non-experts.
