Further education and services are an important addition to the main areas of teaching and research at the Department of Design.

Further education

The Department of Design makes findings and trends discovered by studying and research available to an external audience through its range of further education options. The module-based programme format ranges from composite courses (module) to extra-occupational certificate courses (CAS, DAS, MAS). ZHdK’s Toni-Areal campus is an inspiring place and forms the perfect platform for developing interdisciplinary competencies and knowledge further. We offer a range of courses that follow an intuitive understanding of design and is mainly aimed at designers and other experts in creative fields who have a university degree or corresponding level of professional experience.
