Lea Loeb
Lea Loeb (she/her) is a Swiss-Argentinian dramaturge and curator. Since 2019, Loeb has been working as a curator for the program of the international performing arts festival Zürcher Theater Spektakel under the artistic direction of Matthias von Hartz. She also teaches as a guest lecturer at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) in the Department of Theatre. In addition, she is the founder and co-director of the interdisciplinary residency program Cima Città in the Ticino Alps.
Lea Loeb studied philosophy in Buenos Aires and Zurich, earned a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Dramaturgy (ZHdK), and a Master’s degree in Transdisciplinarity (ZHdK). She has worked as a dramaturge for various groups in the independent Swiss theatre and performance scene and served as in-house dramaturge at Theater Neumarkt in Zurich during the 2015/16 and 2016/17 seasons, as well as at Südpol Luzern in the 2017/18 season. With the curatorial collective FRICTION, Loeb ran the renowned off-space Perla-Mode from 2012 to 2014 and curated the Nordflügel art space at Gessnerallee in 2015. Loeb is also the co-founder and co-director of the independent music and performance festival Perlaton.
