Antonia Alessia Virginia Beeskow is a guest lecturer in the Master Theater as part of the Sonic Encounters excursion to Cima Città.
She studied archaeology in Cologne, applied theater studies in Giessen and the Master Sound and Reality at the Institute for Music and Media at the Robert Schumann University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf. She works in an interdisciplinary manner in the fields of radio plays, sound art, performance, dance and theater in German-speaking and international areas. Beeskow leads workshops on sound design and writes as an author for the fanzine “grapefruits”. In 2023 she was awarded the support Award of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and in 2024 received the Karl Sczuka support Award for her radio play “Ecce, sigh! Siren calls … still, I feel the same”.
She lives in Düsseldorf.
