Assessment of Entry-Level CompetenciesAssessment of Entry-Level Competencies

Certain entry-level competencies are required as a condition of participation in this minor and are assessed as described below. Information on which majors must complete the assessment can be found in the “Producing Composing Music – basic” Minor description (PDF Download).

The students are able to:

• realize their own short musical productions independently,
• demonstrate basic knowledge of sound synthesis and recording,
• express themselves in the field of composing-arranging with the means of jazz and pop.

The following services must be provided for the required aptitude assessment:

• short dossier with audio recordings of previous production work lasting 5 minutes
• Project outline (pdf) of one A4 page
