Course content.
Revolutionize the presentation forms of the performative arts. The art and theatre environment is redefining itself at a tremendous pace. From immersive theatre and augmented reality to temporary spaces, intermedial theatre and performance projects, through to theatrical installations and hybrid spaces with performative practice – in both analogue and digital form. The focus of these projects is primarily on reinterpreting and reintegrating the role of the audience. People in the audience are no longer merely recipients of a performance but rather a dynamic part of it. This minor explores how the performative arts can be reinterpreted and approached differently in their countless presentation formats using innovative space and staging concepts. The resulting study of current political and sociocultural developments is an important part of the minor.

The minor, offered by the Theatre discipline, is taught in German and English and aimed at Bachelor’s and Master’s students. The combination possibilities of this minor with a major are listed in the PDF below. The minor is offered alternately.
