    Content and structure

    Course content.

The Masterโ€™s degree in Sound Design focuses on the creative use of sound and the content-related examination of the interaction between images and sound in connection with linear and interactive media.

    Course structure.

You will discuss the progress of your projects, which are largely developed by means of self-study, as well as the specialization to be selected, in mentoring discussions and one-on-one meetings. Specialist, perception-differentiating knowledge of sound engineering, aesthetic and technical aspects is taught in classes. The final assessment for the Masterโ€™s degree in Sound Design consists of a performative Masterโ€™s project, which can also be installation-based, a research-led written paper, a colloquium and a dossier containing documentation of the relevant coursework carried out during the degree.
