    Beyond Music 2023

The event series โ€œBeyond Musicโ€ took place for the first time in 2022.

    2024: Present Resonating Past.

Classical music, jazz and pop dominate the reception of music in Western culture โ€“ โ€œBeyond Musicโ€ offers the opportunity to explore musical art in alternative contexts. In 2024, special interest will be focussed on the traditions of Africa and India, combined with the question of how these continue to have an impact in the present.
In cooperation with the Museum Rietberg Zurich and the Johannes Guttenberg University Mainz.
