[Translate to English:] Dekorative Abbildung einer Unterrichtssituation in ยซMusik und Bewegungยป

    Course content.

The main focus is on teaching practice with children, which necessitates a multi-faceted instrumental and vocal training programme. You study rhythm and percussion, piano and voice as well as other instruments. You also learn the basics of movement and dance, and gain an insight into music and movement education, dance, creative movement and scenic work. The in-depth, subject-specific focus and intensive teaching practice prepare you to work in the music and movement educational field.

    Course structure.

You attend seminars in singing, piano, percussion, an optional instrument, new media, dance, theatre as well as music and movement.

    Module 2
In the Teaching area, you study topics related to music didactics and undertake teaching practice with children between the ages of three and twelve. During this time, you have the opportunity to put the subject-specific theory that you learn into practice.

    Module 3
The Educational Science area focuses on applied music theory and aural training, music and dance history, dance and anatomy, and educational psychology. It also provides an introduction to writing academic papers.
The study of music education-related subject matter, such as childrenโ€™s voices and improvization with music and movement, leads to childrenโ€™s choir projects, rhythm workshops in schools, etc. The subject-specific content relates to the professional field of early childhood music education and the primary school. Students are carefully prepared to enter the profession and undertake internships with qualified specialist teachers.
