You attend seminars in singing, piano, percussion, an optional instrument, new media, dance, theatre as well as music and movement.
Module 2
In the Teaching area, you study topics related to music didactics and undertake teaching practice with children between the ages of three and twelve. During this time, you have the opportunity to put the subject-specific theory that you learn into practice.
Module 3
The Educational Science area focuses on applied music theory and aural training, music and dance history, dance and anatomy, and educational psychology. It also provides an introduction to writing academic papers.
The study of music education-related subject matter, such as childrenโs voices and improvization with music and movement, leads to childrenโs choir projects, rhythm workshops in schools, etc. The subject-specific content relates to the professional field of early childhood music education and the primary school. Students are carefully prepared to enter the profession and undertake internships with qualified specialist teachers.
