Students must complete the following tasks for the entrance assessment:
In the form of a report, students describe their existing practical experience with health promotion in music and reflect on the relevance of topics such as job-specific health risks, prevention, and physiologically sound practice.
Scope: One A4 page, plus a list of existing practical experience in health promotion in music performance
Language: German or English
Font: Arial 10 to 12 pt; line spacing 1 ½
The document is uploaded to the tool during the minor selection process.
After reviewing the report, candidates will be invited to a 15-minute interview in which they will be asked questions about their prior knowledge and the relevance of music education and will be given additional explanations.
Criteria for entrance assessment
The following criteria are decisive for the assessment of entry level skills in accordance with the minor registration regulations:
- Quality of the report
- Relevance to the candidate's own musical practice and, in particular, to music education
- Ability to reflect and self-assessment
