Course content.
Do you want to create new kinds of experiential spaces that fuse art, design and technology? The “Immersive Arts – basic” minor highlights multi-sensorial and performative processes in which the borders between media dissolve and participant and environment become one. You’ll explore design practices for immersive environments, conceive and implement immersive collective experiences and experiment with different possibilities in interdisciplinary teams.

Skills acquired in the course
Students learn:
–  to design playful fusions of real and virtual phenomena
–  to apply goal-driven working methods using both high and low-tech approaches
–  to explore and critically reflect on the integration and application of digital technologies such as 3D modelling, visual programming, and the perception and processing of audio signals in artistic-creative projects
–  to incorporate and implement interdisciplinary solutions in collaborative work in a constructive and comprehensible manner
