  • Working formats in the PhD group

The PhD programme consists of a variety of exchange formats in which students can discuss and further develop their individual doctoral projects together in a working atmosphere that is respectful, cooperative and appreciative of the respective approaches.

    • At the biannual colloquia, two PhD students take it in turns to present their research projects and discuss them in front of other students as well as supervisors and guests.
    • Regular research workshops provide students with an opportunity to undertake work on their PhD projects with each other. They are tailored to the needs of the PhD students.
    • Further exchange formats can be implemented on campus in Zurich or remotely if necessary and possible.
