    Internships and cooperations

    • Internships

Cooperation with skilled personnel in the fields of science and research is essential for a professional qualification in the field of scientific communication. Project work and teamwork with institutions and experts from different fields are an integral part of the learning program. As a complement to intensive cooperation with specialists in the traditional fields of archaeology, medicine and biology, the course also places a particular emphasis on the life, environmental and cultural sciences.

This area of study regularly produces projects that address contemporary issues facing the profession. Students and lecturers jointly develop visualizations in close collaboration with scientific institutes, universities and private sector companies. Within the scope of cooperation, visualization strategies are evaluated, visualizations are conceived, and the effect and function of images and media are examined.

    Internships

Bachelor's degree students must complete a practical work placement. Over the course of several weeks to months, students put what they have learned into practice together with partners from business or science. Working in a real professional environment provides students with an extension to their own personal technical and organizational โ€œtoolboxโ€, and represents a welcome change from their studies. Time and again, the experiences and contacts that students gain from practical work placements prove to be invaluable for the remainder of their studies and beyond.
