Students seeking admission to the Minor in Advanced Historical Performance Practice must demonstrate their aptitude as follows – these historical instruments or historical singing are available (fill out the form and upload it directly into the minor elective tool):
- Artistic-musical performance (15 minutes) on one of the following historical instruments or historical singing and with a choice of repertoire as listed below: Baroque Guitar, Baroque Triple Harp, Recorder, Cembalo, Cimbasso, Clavichord, Fortepiano, G-Violone, Historical Bass, Historical Cello, Historical Bassoon, Historical Horn, Historical Clarinet, Historical Oboe, Historical Percussion, Historical Trumpet, Historical Violin, Historical Viola, Lute, Ophicleide, Organ, Transverse Flute, Viola da Gamba, Violone, Wiener Bass.
- Interview with the minor coordinator (5 minutes in German and English)

Examination content and form:
The initial competencies will be tested during an audition and an aptitude interview with the minor coordinator. A program of 15 minutes must be prepared and performed on site; accompaniment is available. Specific requirements for historical singing and historical instruments:
For instrumentalists:
The minor is being completed on a historical instrument.
The historical instrument is already used for the entrance examination.
Historical instruments will be provided by the ZHdK, if available.
