    Spatial knowledge

Design is essentially a โ€œtransformational disciplineโ€ that seeks to initiate and help shape new impulses, and use changes sensibly and responsibly. The urgent issues of spatial and technology development, housing and business, the environment and politics require the social change processes initiated by digitalization to be shaped both in spatial and strategic terms. Since 2021, the CAS has been responding to the changed spatial reference and need with a newly designed offer that focuses on spatial transformation projects as well as on future-oriented, sustainable solutions for collaboration, cohabitation and living together i.e. work space, living space and urban space.

Objectives of the โ€œCAS Transforming Spaceโ€

Participants acquire up-to-date basic knowledge for the analysis, reflection and design of spatial connections, whether it be in physical or digital spaces or space-related services, and develop their skills.
They acquire instruments, methods and technologies to transform, design and present space-related connections, and gain confidence in using them.
Through project work, participants enhance their own profile with regard to specific contexts and digital transformation in order to design space-related strategies for the present and the future in the dimensions of work space, living space und urban Sspace. They can position themselves in this field and contribute to further development in the professional environment.
