“In our CAS Artificial Intelligence for Creative Practices, I discovered how AI transforms creative expression across sound, image, text, and movement in ways I never imagined possible. Guided by incredible experts from arts and science, I learned alongside fellow artists, coders, and visionaries who challenged and inspired my practice every day since I have started the program.
Building my first neural network felt like discovering a new artistic medium—technically challenging yet creatively liberating. The program gave me hands-on tools to bridge my artistic vision with AI capabilities, opening doors where one could hack into the inner systems of generative tools and tweak them in one's own artistic direction.
Working at the frontier of AI and creativity connected me with a community of pioneering thinkers wrestling with similar questions we've been exploring from different artistic disciplines. Our collaborations during the year and the high-quality teaching of our tutors—this experience fundamentally reshaped how I approach my creative work.
Coming from a dance background, I worried about fitting into a tech-focused program, but found my perspective was not just welcomed but valued among the diverse cohort. The playful, experimental atmosphere encouraged me to take risks and collaborate across disciplines in ways that have permanently expanded my practice.
Learning from instructors who are either technically brilliant or artistically accomplished gave me confidence to push boundaries in my own work. The program didn't just teach me about AI—it helped me find my authentic voice at the intersection of technology and performing arts.”
