The President of Zurich University of the Arts is Prof Dr Karin Mairitsch. The ZHdK is made up of the following five departments:
- Department of Performing Arts and Film (Director: Prof Marijke Hoogenboom)
- Department of Design (Director a.i.: Prof Dr Anna Lisa Martin-Niedecken)
- Department of Cultural Analysis (Director a.i.: Prof Dr Miriam Schmidt-Wetzel)
- Department of Fine Arts (Director: Prof Swetlana Heger-Davis)
- Department of Music (Director: Prof Xavier Dayer)
The President, the department heads, the Prorectors for “Education” and “Research and Innovation” as well as the Head of Administration, Hans Ulrich Gasser, make up the University Board.
