Klub Kuleshov

Flub Kuleshov HS2025

The «Klub Kuleshov» is a student interest group at Zurich University of the Arts. Our passion lies in both the world of moving images and in the enduring institution that has been the home of cinema for over a century: the movie theater. We don't view the dimly lit cinema as a nostalgic relic of the past century, but rather as a dynamic space for storytelling.

In an age where the internet has brought the cinema experience directly into our living rooms, enabling us to watch any film at any time with the option to pause, we still hold a deep appreciation for the cinema as a venue for shared cinematic experiences. It's a place where the mundane aspects of everyday life are temporarily set aside, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the magic of the big screen together.
