Steffi Haberkern brings strategies to life. At SRF, she designs technology, service, and transformation initiatives, consistently thinking from the users’ perspective and across systems and value chains. In this context, future-oriented thinking becomes a resource for action: In times of growing uncertainty, it provides direction, opens up new possibilities, and strengthens the ability to make effective decisions and shape the future even amid uncertainty. In the CAS Crafting Futures program, she explored creative approaches to thinking about the future and discovered new methods for consciously developing future skills and competencies. Speculative design, in particular, has broadened her view of design as a space for possible futures.
