Flora Klein (*1988 in Bern) is an abstract painter who’s work is characterised through regular stylistic shifts and differences. Klein’s recent preoccupations have included reflective metallic paints and the emblematically modernist, masculine structure of the grid. Alongside her painting practice, Klein has instigated various projects for social exchange: the exhibition series Walks News; an ongoing screening program Filmclub der polnischen Versager*innen; and the music and arts festival Curbit. She also works at MÄDEA, an intercultural center for girls and young women in Berlin. Klein studied Fine Arts at ECAL, Lausanne and holds an MA in Critical Studies from the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
