    Q&A WITH WILLIAM GYVES
What does dance mean to you?
    - To me dance means exploring the possibilities of your body, and developing your voice through movement. More than your own voice and experience, I think dance is also about working with others to create meaningful interpretations of choreographers ideas.

What memory will you take with you from your time at ZHdK?
    - My strongest memory from taZ would be when we had the opportunity to perform Shahar Binyamini’s “Bolero X” at the Spoleto Festival Dei due Mondi. We performed in a Roman amphitheater, at 11pm, in cold dirt and it was the most raw and memorable performance I have experienced.

Which work or choreographer particularly inspires you, and why?
    - While at taZ, we have had lots of opportunities to work with Ihsan Rustem. I really enjoy dancing his work because of the process, where it is a collaboration between the dancers and the choreographer to create something that is also intuitive for each dancer.
