BIOGRAPHY
Céline danced for as long as she can remember. Intensively, she only started five years ago, when she was accepted to taZ after winning a dance competition in Switzerland. She completed two years in the Grundstudium and is now finishing her third and last year in the Hauptstudium.

Q&A WITH CÉLINE NICOLI
What does dance mean to you?
- Dance is my mother tongue; I could speak it before being able to pronounce a single word. It is not only my passion, but a space where I feel completely free, allowing me to let go of everything and express feelings I cannot put into words.
What memory will you take with you from your time at ZHdK?
- There are way too many... But if I had to pick one, it will be our entire Bolero experience from last year. We had the incredible opportunity to dance abroad with astonishing dancers, the "Bolero X" from Shahar Binyamini. As my first "touring" experience, it will remain in my heart forever.
Which work or choreographer particularly inspires you, and why?
- I particularly love working with Jill Johnson on "Forsythe". She is an incredibly inspiring choreographer and a very supportive person. I not only connect deeply with the style, but I especially enjoy working on it.
