- Project title: Elements of Albanian Folklore and its Rhythms in Contemporary Dance teaching
- Description: Elements of Folklore are not merely treated as a repository of traditional forms, but as a dynamic system of knowledge production that informs movement, rhythm, and collective identity. Q&A WITH IGLI MEZINI
What does dance mean to you?
- I have chosen to move through existence as one continuous choreography – shaped by shifting rhythms, rising in crescendos, softening into ralentando, and at times surging forward in a gallop. It is both my compass and my current, carrying me through every transformation.
What memory will you take with you from your time at ZHdK?
- Every time I stepped in, felt like entering a city, within another city. Never seizes to surprise me.
Which work or choreographer particularly inspires you, and why?
- I like works from Marcos Morau. Its extremely challenging and it has a huge impact to you as an artist.
