DIPLOMA PROJECT / THESIS
- Project title: Primordia
- Description: Primordia emerges from a fascination with the body’s connectivity through fascia. It reflects in the experience of being born in an unfamiliar skin that, through experience, becomes one’s own. It unfolds in layers, where the physical body and emotional dimensions remain entangled.

Q&A WITH BERTA ESPAÑA ROMERO
What does dance mean to you?
- For me, dance is a social experience where energy is shared and becomes contagious. It also opens up space to discover different versions of yourself in every creative process.
What memory will you take with you from your time at ZHdK?
- I wouldn’t choose just one memory, but rather the way friendships with my classmates grew during our time at ZHdK, becoming a fundamental part of my dance journey.
Which work or choreographer particularly inspires you, and why?
- It is a difficult choice, as every process taught me something valuable. I especially appreciated Caroline Finn’s piece, which explored the theme of indulgence and required vulnerability on stage.
