DIPLOMA PROJECT / THESIS
- Project title: All that is Light
- Description: “All that is Light” aims to capture dance in its purest form. Dance when it is not performed, or judged, or questioned. Dance when it is bare foot and rooted, connected to the earth. Dance when it is shared with dear friends, used to communicate things words cannot, and when it brings laughter to the surface, bubbling from the depths.

Q&A WITH ADONIA MARTINEAU
What does dance mean to you?
- Dance is my dearest friends, my source of freedom, and my pathway to presence. Dance is what challenges me daily, and encourages me to grow eternally. Movement is both, the beautiful and the messy, and this is why I fell in love with it.
What memory will you take with you from your time at ZHdK?
- I will never forget the beauty that can be created when a group of people with shared passion work together every day. The people I met are like family, tucked in my heart always <3
Which work or choreographer particularly inspires you, and why?
- Recently I had the opportunity to work with a choreographer called Etay Axelroad. Etay's approach to movement focuses on the intention, not the result. He works with dancers as humans, and he acknowledges each person's unique creativity. I am drawing inspiration from him since.
